Real Estate Resources The Arizona Department of Real Estate regulates Arizona real estate, cemetery and membership camping salespersons and brokers, real estate schools and instructors, and investigates complaints from the public and licensees regarding real estate and land development transactions. Since 1980, the primary objectives of the Arizona Real Estate Center (AREC) at Arizona State University have been to serve as a focal point for research and educational projects of faculty members; to analyze and evaluate the Arizona real estate market; to conduct studies related to real estate; and to assist in the development of real estate educational programs throughout Arizona.
